Why you should not choose your vacation destination based on "Instagram" pictures
November 17, 2017
Probably, you'd have experienced it before: you book a trip based on an amazing Instagram picture. But after reaching the destination you cannot recognize anything because of the huge crowd of people, who thought also the same as you😜.
Where are those tranquil beaches that you encountered on Instagram? Where’s the super-calm monument you saw online? How will you manage to make a selfie same as your friend posted on Facebook? Unfortunetely, these travel expectations are often in complete contrast to the reality. Most of the pictures online are the results of multiple camera filters and Photoshop magics. It may be disappointing and may make your whole trip experience soar; but on the other hand it's rather funny to compare them too!.

💭The happiness or the extent to which you amuse yourself in a tour/attraction depends not only on what you see there, but also on the expectations you had beforehand. So I’d say better don’t decide your vacation spot based on pictures you see on #Facebook, #Instagram #socialmedia, not even travel sites (like mine😏); read all the facts, do thorough research on details about the place, evaluate whether it suits your taste, then you decide.

ReplyDeleteSo true, so true. I love what you said here :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is very true ! .. I dont think even most of the travel blogs are edited to the core that it looks nothing like the actual experience ..
ReplyDeleteHa.. ha. I have been a victim many times, but still don't get tired of it :)
